EDF Renewables is a globally recognized renewable energy leader and wholly owned subsidiary of EDF Group. Established in 2004 (and rebranded in 2018), the company develops, finances, builds, and operates sustainable energy projects across the globe—including wind, solar, storage, EV charging, and marine initiatives. With over 12 GW of installed capacity in 22 countries and a strong North American presence, EDF Renewables works with utilities, municipalities, schools, and corporations to deliver clean energy responsibly and innovatively. Notable projects include the 516 MW Spinning Spur Wind Ranch (TX), the 300 MW Blackspring Ridge Wind Project (Canada), and advanced installations like floating solar on hydro reservoirs in France. EDF continues to expand through strategic partnerships, such as a recent solar JV in Saudi Arabia and a new pumped-storage initiative in South Asia.
